What are Veneers?
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or composite placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect the tooth’s surface from damage.
As the name suggests a veneer is a very thin cover made from porcelain, which is bonded on to the front of an existing tooth. Veneers are generally only used on front teeth to enhance your appearance or correct the unsightly look of one or more teeth.
